Initiative |
IDHELIO as winner of a national call "Investissement d'avenir"
Integration methodology |
Adding only a hot air entry into the drying oven to replace the propane heated air. Hot air come directly from the solar concentrator or from the heat storage (pebble bed storage based on local and natural rocks)
Batch process on a daily basis : it is solar operated when the heat storage contents enough energy.
Crucial Interfaces |
Mixing chamber to produce process air at 85°C starting from 250°C stored heat
Short distance from storage (outside from the work shop)
Mirror geomtry (large radius of curvature parabolic mirrors)
Construction / Commissioning |
Installed as shedehouse over company car ad lorry park
Operation / Performance |
Fully automatic operation and remote monitoring
