| Initiative |
Project was part of the Malaysian Energy Efficiency and Solar Thermal Application project (MAEESTA) that develops local talent to design and integrate solar thermal systems for industrial applications. This project was led by Mr Sadish of IOI Pan-Century Sdn. Bhd. in an effort to introduce greener approach in the company's energy management.

| Integration methodology |
The feedwater tank was chosen as the solar thermal integration point due to it's low interference and easy to integrate with its current operation. It also serves as a proof of concept and a jumping point for IOI Pan-Century to implement more solar thermal and green projects in their other manufacturing plants.
